  1. One Way Hinge

Features: Only one opening and closing force, the door keeps the same force throughout the whole process when opening or closing.

Simple structure, usually no stop or buffer function.

Advantages:

Low cost: simple structure, economic price.

Easy to install: suitable for scenes that do not require high functionality.

Disadvantages:

Easy to collide: no cushioning when closing, the door panel may suddenly hit the cabinet, generating noise or damage.

No hover function: the door panel can not stay at any angle, need to be fixed manually.

Applicable scenarios: low-budget furniture, cabinets that do not require high quietness and durability.

  1. Two way hinge

Features: Adopting two way strength design:

First stage (small angle, e.g. 0-30°): lighter strength, used for daily small opening and closing (e.g. picking up objects).

The second stage (large angle, e.g. 30-90°): the force is increased, the door can be fully opened and stabilized hovering.

Advantages:

Anti-pinch: easy opening and closing at small angles to avoid excessive force.

Stable hovering: the door can be held at any angle without additional support.

High durability: Reduces repetitive adjustments and extends service life.

Disadvantages:

Higher cost: the structure is more complicated than a section of force, slightly more expensive.

Requires precise installation: improper debugging may affect the effect of segmentation.

Applicable scenarios: high-frequency use of kitchen cabinets, office furniture, etc..

  1. Soft closehinge (damping hinge)

Features:

Integrated hydraulic or pneumatic damper, automatic deceleration when the door is closed, to achieve gentle closure.

May be combined with one or two-stage force design (e.g. two-stage force hinges with cushioning).

Benefits:

Silent and crash-proof: eliminates closing noise and protects the door and cabinet.

Good user experience: smooth closing, high-end feeling.

Safety: Avoid hand pinching or sudden closing.

Cons:

Highest cost: damping components increase price.

Complicated maintenance: the damper needs to be replaced after aging.

Applicable scenes: high-end furniture, closet, children's room cabinets and other scenes with high requirements for silence and safety.
